Our Heart in the Community

Our Commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility

More than just an engineering inspection company,we believe in building impact where it matters most and that is in the lives of people and communities. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) journey embodies this belief, with initiatives that extend beyond infrastructure to encompass education, empowerment, and sustainable development. From rural Cambodia to communities across Singapore, our efforts are grounded in one mission: to engineer a safer, more equitable future for all.

Our CSR journey began as early as 2010, when we supported student and community involvement programmes in Cambodia. These early efforts laid the foundation for more structured and impactful work:

2014

Formation of Emaan Foundation for Development of Education, Economy and Social in Cambodia, supporting education and clean water access

2017

Establishment of Emaan Foundation Limited in Singapore, focused on regional development

2019

Rebranded to Emaan Catalyst Community Limited (ECC) to reflect our broadened focus on youth empowerment, volunteerism, and service learning

Our Impact in Cambodia:
Empowering from the Ground Up.

Under Emaan Foundation Cambodia and Emaan Catalyst Community, our work in Cambodia has directly impacted rural communities across multiple provinces:

Our CSR journey began as early as 2010, when we supported student and community involvement programmes in Cambodia. These early efforts laid the foundation for more structured and impactful work:

Fifteen water wells built across villages from 2016 to 2022, improving access to clean water.

A multi-purpose community hall completed in 2018 in Kampong Chhnang serves as a prayer space, classroom, and community hub.

School supplies and uniforms have been provided annually since 2019 to over 200 children.

The Youth Expedition Programs (YEP), launched in 2021, bring Singaporean youth to build homes, lead educational programs, and foster cross-cultural learning.

Livelihood workshops for women started in 2022, equipping rural mothers with sewing and handicraft skills to earn a living.

Emergency aid and flood relief were deployed in 2021 and 2023, reaching over 250 families with essentials like food, hygiene kits, and solar lights.

These projects are rooted in sustainable development—enabling communities to thrive, not just survive.
